What is PCL?
PCL, or polycaprolactone, is a biodegradable substance that has been used in medicine for many years. How the collagen lift works
The polycaprolactone product is introduced into selected areas of the subcutaneous layer using fine needles. Course of the treatment
The treatment is preceded by a consultation, during which the doctor assesses the condition of your skin and proposes a protocol, including the number of sessions. On the day of the treatment, a numbing cream is applied to the treatment area to increase comfort during the procedure. The doctor then applies the product into predetermined sites using fine needles. The whole treatment takes approximately 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the size of the area, and is carried out on an outpatient basis without the need for hospitalisation. Further treatments are scheduled at intervals determined by the doctor.
Aftercare
Most clients can return to their usual activities shortly after the treatment. For a few days after the application, it is recommended to avoid excessive physical activity and direct sunlight. Mild swelling or small bruises may appear; these usually subside within a few days. Protect your skin with products containing a UV filter.
