Skin regeneration and biostimulation
Polynucleotide treatment (salmon DNA) is a gentle biostimulating treatment that supports the skin's natural regenerative processes. It helps improve hydration, elasticity and overall skin quality with a natural-looking effect.
Who is the treatment suitable for?
The treatment is intended for women and men who want to improve the quality of their skin gently and naturally. It is recommended for loss of elasticity, fine wrinkles and skin that is tired, dehydrated or sensitive. It may also help with dark circles under the eyes, sun-damaged skin and minor post-acne irregularities. The treatment is always preceded by a consultation with the doctor, who will assess the condition of your skin and your medical history and propose an individual treatment plan and number of sessions.
What are polynucleotides?
Polynucleotides are purified DNA fragments derived from salmon. In aesthetic dermatology, they are used as a biostimulating substance – that is, a substance that does not act as a filler but supports the skin's own renewal processes. After application, they can help regenerate the skin, support collagen production and improve hydration and elasticity. Thanks to their gentle action, the treatment is also suitable for delicate and sensitive areas such as around the eyes, where the skin is thin and prone to signs of tiredness.
What does it address?
- Fine wrinkles
- Dehydrated skin
- Pigmentation and skin tone
- Dark circles under the eyes
How the treatment works
Polynucleotides are delivered into the skin with a very fine needle at points determined in advance by the doctor. In the skin, they act as a biostimulator – supporting its natural regenerative processes and potentially helping collagen production. The result is a gradual improvement in hydration, elasticity and the overall appearance of the skin. The effect builds over time, which is why a course of several treatments is usually recommended for the best possible result. The result looks natural, without changing your facial features.

Course of the treatment
The treatment begins with a consultation with the doctor, who will assess the condition of your skin and propose an individual treatment plan. Before the application itself, a numbing cream is applied to the treatment area to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. The doctor then injects the polynucleotides into the skin with a very fine needle. One session takes approximately 30–45 minutes. The treatment is performed on an outpatient basis and is usually planned as a course of several visits, the number and spacing of which are determined by the doctor.
Aftercare
Redness, sensitivity or mild swelling in the treated area are a common reaction and usually subside within 24–48 hours. On the day of the treatment, avoid sport, saunas, sunbeds and direct sunlight. Do not apply make-up to the treated areas and touch them only with clean hands. Over the following days, gently moisturise your skin and protect it with a high-SPF product. If you experience an unusual reaction, please contact your treating doctor.
